Images – For Teen Girls – An incentive-based leadership program teaching life balance, community service, volunteerism and positive self-image.
Teen Vs. Wild – For Teen Boys – An incentive-based program for Boys to learn respect for themselves and others, honor, fun and camaraderie. Teachings will include processing deer, spearing, ice fishing, trapping, traditional crafts, and survival skills.
Torch Club – For “Tweens”. A civic-oriented group led by students to give back to their community; i.e. trash clean-up, anti-bullying messages, etc.
Smart Moves - SMART Moves uses a team approach that involves Club staff, peer leaders, parents and community representatives. Young people ages 6 to 15 engage in discussion and role-playing, practicing resilience and refusal skills, developing assertiveness, strengthening decision-making skills and analyzing media and peer influence. The ultimate goal is to promote abstinence from substance abuse and adolescent sexual involvment through the practice of responsible behavior.
Meth SMART- Has six interactive sessions addressing positive decision making and problem solving. Teaches students the facts on methamphetamines and their effects on the body and mind. Students will learn refusal techniques and how to identify and use support systems.
